Circle C - Small Group

 Since so many players were out of town this week the rest of us decided to play an early round at Circle C.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, and Heady.  It was another warm day, with temperatures in the 90's, no wind and not a cloud in the sky.  Course conditions were dead dry and there were a few other players on the course.

I played alright today, my drives were straight, my putting was good, I just had some trouble with my fairway throws.  I made several stupid mistakes, not keeping the disc flat.

Only one birdie made today and that was by Keith on #2.  No discs lost and no discs found.

North Town - Father's Day

 We ventured north this morning for an 8:00 am tee time at the North Town course in Pflugerville.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Chris, Dave and Heady.  It was another warm one, with temperatures in the low 90's, calm winds and not a cloud in the sky.  Course condition were the driest I've seen.  The little creek only had a few puddles in it.  There were very few other players on the course.

I didn't play all that well today, a little hung over from the night before.  I started out with some decent drives but could not convert them to pars.  I had some terrible drives later on, seemed like I forgot how to throw.  I hit a lot of fairway trees and missed a few putts.  Chris and Steve had a good rounds with multiple birdies each.  Dave had some long straight drives.  Keith had a few very long drives and made a birdie from downtown on #8.

There were 12 birdies made today:  Chris(5), Steve(4), Dave(1), Keith(1) and Heady(1).  No discs found, one disc lost by Dave in the pond on #12.

Westside Park - Marble Falls - Saturday Bonus Round

 I met Chris in Marble Falls to play a Saturday Bonus Round at the Westside Park.  We hooked up with a guy from Oklahoma, Cale.  It was his first time to play this course so we invited him to play with us.  Temperatures were in the upper 80's, sunny skies and no wind to speak of.  Course conditions were dry, there were some fallen limbs.  There were quite a few other players on the course, playing some kind of tournament. 

I did about my average for this course.  I missed about three putts, one for birdie.  Chris and a good round and Cale played well for his first time.

There were six birdies made:  Cale(3), Chris(2) and Heady(1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

Circle C - A Warm Spring Day

 We had an 8:00 start to beat the heat at the Circle C.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Chris, Keith, DD and Heady. Temperatures were in the 80's when we started and climbed quickly.  There was not a cloud in the sky and only a slight breeze.  Course conditions were dry and there were a fair number of other players on the course.

I played about my average for this course.  I had some decent drives but some of my fairway shots went astray.  My putting was pretty good again this week.  Darden made a birdie on #18, which is not easy to do.

There were seven birdies made today:  Steve(3), Chris(2), Dave(1) and Darden(1). No discs lost and no discs found.
