Westside Park - Marble Falls

We met up at my place for breakfast before heading out to Marble Falls to play the Westside Park DGC.  Today's players were:  Steve, Lif, Keith, Chris and Dave.  I injured my shoulder this week and after about four throws I decided it would be best if I did not play.  Temperatures were in the 80's, mostly cloudy skies with a little rain.  The wind was not a factor.  We were the only players on the course.  Course conditions were fair.  The bridge that crossed the creek on #6 was washed away.  We had to cross on the railway bridge.  Swarms of large, blood-thirsty mosquitoes attacked us during the round.  The repellent we applied only seem to piss them off.

There were nine birdies made today:  Steve(4), Lif(3) and Chris(2).  No discs lost an no discs found.

MetCenter - Father's Day

It was the last day of Spring, Father's Day, we played MetCenter in South East Austin.  The players were:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Chris, Darden and Heady.  Temperatures were in the upper 80's to low 90's, mostly sunny skies and just enough wind to make putting tricky.  Course conditions were fair, some parts were a little squishy and some parts were parched.  There were a few other players on the course.

I played a little below average today.  I didn't feel very strong when throwing my drives.  My approach shots were mostly good and I made most of my putts.  I didn't have any double bogeys but I had damn few pars.  Several holes that should be easy pars went down for bogeys.
