Circle C - Another Ace for Steve

It was a good day for some DG at Circle C this morning.  Today's players were:  Steve, Dave, Bob, Keith and Heady.   Temperatures were in the middle 80's, it was mostly cloudy when we started but mostly sunny when we finished.  The humidity was very high and only an occasional breeze was blowing.  Course conditions were very dry and a few other small groups were on the course.

Steve had the shot of the day with a skip ace on #3.   His drive was low and straight and stopped just before the basket.  Then his disc hit the ground and jumped up and landed in the chains.  It was beautiful.

I played better than I have in the past few weeks.  I started off slow and had some bad rolls and choked on a birdie putt.  Bob did not have a good game today, I think he used it all up at Zilker yesterday with Lif.

One Ace by Steve and eight birdies were made today:    Steve(2), Keith(2), Bob(2), Dave(1) and Heady (1).  No discs lost and no discs found.

North Town - Pflugerville

We ventured up north and east this week to play the North Town Disc Golf Course in Pflugerville, Texas.  We had a large group today of:  Steve, Dave, Lif, Bob, Keith, Brian, DD and Heady.  We enjoyed a hearty breakfast of Macho Tacos and mimosa before we started.   Skies were sunny, temperatures were in the 80's and an occasional breeze.  Course conditions were good.

I could never really get it going today.  I hit too many trees with my drives and my approach shots were off the mark.  I made too many bogeys on the easy holes.  Steve had the shot of the day with his drive on #14.  A beautiful throw, 330 feet across the pond, right under the basket.  Dave D. followed Steve's shot and ended up about ten feet away.  They both made birdies.

A total of 14 birdies were made:  Keith(3), Steve(2), Bob(2), DaveD(2), Lif(2), Brian(2) and Heady(1).  No disc found and two discs lost in the pond on #12, Big Dave and Rob.
