Williamson County DGC

We took a little trip up north on Sunday to play the Williamson County Disc Golf Course.  This is an unforgiving course with very wooded fairways.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Bob, Lif, Brian, Dave and Heady.  Skies were overcast, temperatures were about 60 degrees and almost no wind.  Course conditions were good and there were a few other players on the course today.

I played about my average for this course.  I think that if we played it more often I could get my score down another 5 or 6 strokes.  I had some good drives today but several of my approach shots found the trees.  I missed about three putts that I really should have made.  I almost had a skip in ace on #10.  I threw a pretty good flick and it bounce up to hit the basket.  Keith had some long drives today but he missed at least five putts.  He was flat out robbed on a couple of them with the disc bouncing off the chains.

At total of four birdies were made:  Heady(2), Steve(1) and Keith(1).  No discs lost but one disc found by Steve (of course) on #17.

Circle C - Sunday Round

We played another round on Sunday at Circle C.  Can't get enough of the C.  Today's players were:  Steve, Keith, Bob, Lif and Rob.  Temperatures were in the 70's, mostly cloudy skies and enough a breeze to be a issue. Course conditions were good and there were several other groups and solo players on the course today.

I started out the round pretty well.  I had birdie attempts on the first two holes but at the fifth hole the wheels fell off and I never fully recovered.  I got in trouble with the trees and I also missed a couple of easy putts.  Steve had a very good round finishing at 2 under par.

A total of six birdies were made:  Steve(4) and Keith(2).  No discs lost and no discs found
