MetCenter

We started early today at 8:30 at the MetCenter in order to beat the heat.  When we started it was mostly cloudy and a little breezy, by the time we finished it was mostly sunny and that breeze felt good.  Today's group consisted of:  Keith, Dave, Lif, Bob, Steve and myself.  The grass has grown quite a bit recently and several times we had trouble finding our discs.

The course was almost empty, only a couple of other groups playing.  The group behind us scored and ace on number 3, a very dangerous shot considering there is a pond right behind the basket.  The little bit of wind affected our game especially our putting.  I missed three easy putts, clanking off the basket.

No discs lost, a couple of them found the water but were recovered, one disc found, Keith found a Roc hidden in the grass. A total of six birdies were made today:  Keith(2), Rob(1), Dave(1), Lif(1) and Steve(1).  Dave's birdie was from pretty far out on number 3, nice shot!

Circle C - Return of the Lif

We played Circle C today with the core group back together.  Lif and Brian returned from Jamaica relaxed and ready to play.  The group today consisted of:  Steve, Keith, Lif, Dave, Bob, Brian and me.  The weather was partly cloudy, warm and muggy with very little wind.  We were all sweating by the third hole.  There were very few other players on the course today.

The Force was strong with me today and I scored my personal best for this course.  No double bogeys for the second straight week.  I did miss a couple of birdie putts but I also made a couple of long putts for par, so that evened out.  My wife surprised me with a Star Roadrunner disc yesterday,  she must really love me, I was able to throw it very well today.

A total of 10 birdies were made today:  Steve(4), Keith(2), Rob(1), Bob(1), Lif(1) and Brian(1).  No discs found, one disc lost, Lif left his Pro Wraith somewhere on the course.
